A company created to satisfy a huge gap in the market, CTS Travel and Events introduced technology that allowed companies to have more control over their travel spend (and have less reliance on their travel agent).

After the company was founded in 1995, CTS was recognised 3 years later by BRW as one of the top 10 fastest growing private companies in Australia.

In 1998, the company merged with Internet Travel Group and became a publicly listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange with a turnover exceeding $450m.
